Incredible find, soo tasty Japanese food with cutes cafe vibe.. my go to place in danforth area. Their donuts and fried chicken always put a smile on me. Also I can't recommend enough the sandwiches too. Only the great service with Japanese serves can make me go back there alone sometimes

Super tasty. I can't afford to eat here everyday, but the staff were friendly and the portions were big. I want to try all the menu items. Such a great place to bring friends for brunch.

My wife and I love this place! When come to visit from Vancouver, our trip is never complete without having breakfast or brunch at Isabella's! The owners are great and they are very welcoming!!! The Ube pancakes are a must have!!!

We had dinner last week with several friends at Isabellas Restaurant on Queen St in Toronto. I have had Japanese Sushi in lots of different places, but have never had Japanese food as good as at Isabella’s. We intend to visit many more times & I would highly recommend it to anyone. Everything is so fresh & cooked from scratch. Absolutely delicious. I would give it 5 star. A wonderful dining experience.

This is a good place but the pricing has taken a major hike in the wrong direction! It’s not worth spending $20 on a lunch plate in the Beaches, sorry. (Responding to restaurant reply: as I said, $20 for a single entree at lunch is too expensive! Not sure what you’re denying: $17+tax+tip = more than $20. I am fortunate to have a very good income, and if I’m saying this, you can believe many others are thinking it! Just tying to help.). Look around, you’re charging more than every other place I can think of in the area. Actually, I can eat for less in Yorkville! 1 star because it’s clear the Owner has no business sense. I also left (as another recent 1 star reviewer just did) because there was no one coming to serve me and my mom. It wasn’t even busy! Bizarre. This and the stupid prices ($20 for a plate of rice and beef) are examples of a lack of business sense.

I love this place! They provide decent dishes, they have a nice menu, The cook in that place is a professional, I enjoy very much eating all their dishes. The dishes are consistently of high class, the attitude towards the guests is efficient. I frequently visit this place and I was never discontended. I recommend it with no hesitation.

This has got to be one of my favourite restaurants in the city. Beautifully decorated space and very friendly staff. I have always had very attentive service and many items on the breakfast menu, particularly the avocado benny are awesome. Just went in for dinner tonight for the first time with my family and again had great food and service at a reasonable price. Having a son that has a nut allergy, this is also one of the few asian restaurants that we can feel comfortable in. Donuts are out of this world good.

Severely disappointed with my experience today. My partner and I placed our order around 12:45pm. The restaurant was full however many tables were occupied by people who had finished eating. No server came to check on us or offer more coffee. We left at 1:34pm as there was no sign that our food was coming anytime soon. I know the food is delicious as I’ve been to their old location but today was a real disappointment. I hope their service and wait time for food improves.

It is a bit pricy, and very small portion of coffee and no refill available. It is not authentic Japanese food but a fusion of western food. Nice decoration and good service.

This is a very cute Japanese boutique restaurant. We tried one of the Japanese tradition breakfast set that comes with rice , salad, omelette, miso and fruits and egg Benedict with avocado. They were both delicious!

We've gone to this restaurant several times with our kids and the food is great. The staff is courteous and attentative. Would definitely checking this place out, its the perfect place for Japanese brunch and comfort food.

It was our first time. Wait time for food is a bit long. The cooking style is Japanese fusion with western. We appreciate the creativity but don't find the dishes really impressive. It will take us a while to go back again.

Waiting time is a bit long. Restaurant said it is busy on weekends or Sundays. The restaurant serves Japanese and western food. Some of them are tasty but some don't. For example, they don't use round Japanese rice, so it doesn't taste authentic.

I go to this lovely place many times a year! This is my favorite restaurant to to have a good dinner. I go to this spot routinely. The cooking is excellent, the workers are friendly and the prices are reasonable. I enjoy being in this restaurant for a rich lunch.

Very poor service, primarily because only ponytail guy is authorized to take orders. You can not even ask for coffee to other staff. Go there only if you can wait for more than an hour for your food to be served. That delay also looked like a trick to make people buy their Donuts and breads before food is served. All staff were very polite and nice, except this ponytail guy who was totally non-apologetic even after mentioning that how slow their service is. Food was ok, but poor service made the whole experience bad.

I dream about their Wafu set lol. I love their Japanese breakfast, the poutine and our kids favorite is the Mickey Mouse pancakes. You can’t go wrong with any of the dishes.

We stopped by for a quick snack because we had heard about their mochi donuts. Though we didn't get them in their "ring" form, we were able to enjoy them in their doughnut-on-a-stick form. They were delicious. And perfect to walk around the Jazz Festival with.

Tried their curry chicken and omelette +add rice ball, which I think are good value of money! Place is cozy~It is also a surprise to find they have lovely Vietnamese Coffee and is refillable. When you cannot decide what to eat on a gloomy day, just come and get a bite!

I loved the home feel of this place. It was amazing to eat here and the food felt very rustic. The service and decor all make you feel like you are eating a lot a friends home. Definitely come here if you have the chance.

This unique place continues to surprise me!! I have visited Japan a couple of times, and it's a real treat to experience the dishes, textures, and flavours once again. My only problem is, trying to decide what to order, everything I've tried is so delicious! The setting is warm and friendly. Staff are cheerful, and happily help you make a decision. And the coffee is amazing!!!

This place is such a gem. The food is super delicious and lots of interesting Japanese dishes that you don't typically find elsewhere in Toronto. It's also very family friendly. I can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu. If I lived closer, my family would be there all the time!

Isabella's has been my favorite place. Not only because the food is delicious but also we can taste love and care in their food. Unlike so many restaurants that pick the cheapest ingredients and cook food with the least effort, Isabella's is the opposite. Their dishes are made delicately like every dish is an art work, with so much loving energy. As a Japanese person, I also appreciate that they cook authentic Japanese dishes.. it makes me feel right at home.

I love the food here. Great quality for great prices, they even have taxes included in their price list so you know exactly how much you are spending. Why is this not a thing? I go during the week because I know on weekends it is a popular place to go have brunch and it gets busy. Those pancakes are hard to finish because they are so filling so they are great to share :)
